After reading a written brief on what the author was looking for This is the basic design I was able to put together and submit.
The original book cover submission silhouette of the cowboy was not a vector image so I converted the image to vector and made a few changes to the shape to make it look a little more like a cowboy and a little less like Indiana Jones.
After the author made a few suggestions on changes this is the final design I submitted.
Ultimately the author went in a different direction with the cover but I enjoyed this cover and think that although it didn't make it to print it was a fun project and I think it came out nicely.
