JESSICABSTRACT
Abstract Artist

For those out there who think the only way to be yourself is to do it behind closed doors and let your freak flag fly this post isn't for you... Or maybe it is a little. Because this beautiful person really lives life wide open and is a genuine and incredibly talented hot mess of an artist. She would also 100% approve of me saying so in this post. She decided a few years ago to hang up her corporate hat and start throwing paint on anything that moved and also a lot that didn't move. In working on this project I was able to look at a major portion of her art and see how much she has developed as an artist. I know to most I am pretty my a nobody. But for those that actually know me I have a keen eye for art and fantastic taste. I have been told by a past art teacher that I would make a great art curator. That being said since I never really pursued that degree in fine art that most people look to when they start to trust someone who can truly be an art critic and curator. I mostly perfected the art of knowing myself seeing trends in current art and artists and can recognize flow, function and color. I recognize when even an abstract work if it still needs some work or if it is ready. I can understand the spirit behind the project and see the vision even when it is confusing to many. The right piece can make or break you. So when I met Jessica after connecting with her via Instagram I knew I could help her at least as far as her website present her work in a way that does justice to her process also helped her setup a Patreon to ensure she is able to post her work without any issues with removal due to nudity. I also helped her put together some business cards and stickers for her to do some advertising. On a few occasions I got the joy of working with her to photograph some of her sessions including a session where she painted herself. I will include some of my favorite photos that I took in this portfolio post.
